This Day Forward announce reunion shows in NYC and Philly
Philadelphia metalcore group This Day Forward will reunite this summer.
Revealed today, This Day Forward will perform at Philadelphia’s Underground Arts on August 24 and NYC’s Bowery Ballroom on August 25. This will be the band’s first shows since their 2003 split.
This Day Forward said this about the shows via social media:
“It’s happening! After 20+ years since the last This Day Forward show we have decided to get together and share some time together with each other and with you. We will be playing some shows at the end of August in Philadelphia at Underground Arts (8/24) and in New York at the Bowery Ballroom (8/25). We would love to share this time with you; to see old friends and make some new ones.”
Tickets for both shows will go on sale to the general public this Friday (April 12) at 10 a.m. EST here.
Since their final show in 2003, members of This Day Forward have gone on to continue their musical journey in other bands. Guitarist Vadim Taver has been a touring member of Poison The Well while guitarist Brendan Ekstrom and drummer Colin Frangicetto co-founded Circa Survive with former Saosin vocalist Anthony Green.
