Thursday, February 27

American Authors & Magic Giant @ Webster Hall

American Authors & Magic Giant end their Band of Brothers Road Show inside Webster Hall. This trek finds both bands joining forces as one with a set filled with hits from both acts. Both bands teamed up for the 2019 single “Rocketman.” American Authors are supporting their latest studio album Seasons, which features the hit single “Bring It On Home.” Magic Giant’s last studio album is 2017’s In the Wind. Public, who went viral with the track “Make You Mine,” will open.

Parlor Walls, Lutkie @ Union Pool

NYC duo Parlor Walls will hold the record release show for their new album Heavy Tongue inside Union Pool. The seven track release was co-produced by the band and Kevin McMahon, who worked with acts such as Titus Andronicus, Frightened Rabbit, and The Mooney Suzuki. Lutkie and Activity will open.

Machine Girl, Kilbourne @ Saint Vitus Bar

Before hitting the road with Code Orange this spring, NYC digital hardcore outfit Machine Girl will have a record release show inside Saint Vitus Bar. Earlier this month, they gave fans a treat with MG Demo Disc, which includes a slew of demos from over the years. Joining them as support are Kilbourne, .gif from god, LustSickPuppy, and Versus.

Chelsea Cutler, Alexander 23 @ Terminal 5

Pop singer Chelsea Cutler kicks off a two night stint inside Terminal 5 (night two takes place on Tuesday, March 3). Last month, they released their debut studio album How to Be Human, which debuted at number 23 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. Fellow pop acts Alexander 23, who recently unveiled their new single “I Hate You So Much,” and X Lovers, who are supporting their debut EP Virgin, will join as support.

Cult Of Luna, Emma Ruth Rundle @ Gramercy Theatre

Swedish metal act Cult of Luna head to Gramercy Theatre to promote their new studio album A Dawn to Fear. Joining them as support are Emma Ruth Rundle, who is supporting their latest record On Dark Horses, and Intronaut, who’ll release their new studio album Fluid Existential Inversions on Friday.

Elohim, Bahari @ Elsewhere

Electropop artist Elohim will kick off her North American tour in Brooklyn, and they're doing it with a new single in hand. "Group Therapy" will be unveiled on the same day. The artist has been turning heads with performances at Coachella, Governors Ball, and Hangout Music Festival. Elohim will be joined by Bahari, who are promoting their latest single “Gameboy.”

The Shivas @ Mercury Lounge

Portland rock band The Shivas plug their new studio album Dark Thoughts with a late show inside the Mercury Lounge. For their Tender Loving Empire debut, they teamed up with producer Cameron Spies, who worked with acts such as The Saxophones and Moon By You. The Advertisers and High Wasted will join them as support.

Refused, Youth Code @ Brooklyn Steel

Refused make their way to Brooklyn Steel to promote their new studio album War Music, which peaked at number four on the Heatseekers Albums chart. The band will lend original tunes for the forthcoming video game Cyberpunk 2077, which arrives on September 17. Joining them as support are Youth Code, whose last studio album was 2016's Commitment to Complications, and Racetraitor, who are plugging their 2018 studio album 2042.

Baynk, Austin Millz @ Webster Hall

Baynk takes over Webster Hall for a Saturday evening of electronic madness. The producer has been releasing material from their four-song visual EP titled A Study In Movement. The first single from the release titled “Down” features Golden Vessel and Akurei. Austin Millz and Nolie will also lay down some tracks.

Metal/synthwave act GosT will headline the Knitting Factory to promote their latest album Valediction, which is out on Century Media Records. The act has been turning heads performing alongside acts such as Carpenter Brut, The Black Dahlia Murder, and Pallbearer. Brooklyn's own Destryur, who released their album Panic last year, will open.

Throttle, Niko The Kid @ Webster Hall

Australian producer Throttle will rock Webster Hall on the tail end of their North American tour. The artist will be promoting their new Where U Are EP, which is out on Monstercat Records. While still in high school, Throttle went viral with their “Inspire” Launchpad video, which landed them an official remix for the late Avicii. Atlanta producer Niko The Kid, who worked with acts such as ODESZA and Stela Cole, will open.

Bridget Kelly @ Sony Hall

R&B singer Bridget Kelly will have a hometown performance at Sony Hall. Following their 2018 sophomore studio album Reality Bites, the artist has been steadily dropping music with their 2019 EP titled The Great Escape and standalone single "Single Player Game." In 2013, Kelly won a Grammy for writing Kelly Clarkson's album Stronger.

Donuts Are Forever: J Dilla Tribute @ Brooklyn Bowl

Since 2007, Donuts Are Forever have been held annually to pay tribute to late producer J Dilla. This year's event features a headlining performance from Pete Rock, who release a collaboration album with Skyzoo titled Retropolitan. Other acts performing are Nina Sol, Tara, JADALAREIGN, and Hasan Insane.

The Wood Brothers, Kat Wright @ Webster Hall

Folk rock act The Wood Brothers will take over Webster Hall for a two night stint (night two is Friday, January 31). The band are touring in support of their new studio album Kingdom In My Mind. Towards the end of February, The Wood Brothers will be supporting The Avett Brothers in the Dominican Republic. Opening for their Webster Hall gigs is Kat Wright, who is working on the follow up to their 2016 debut album By My Side.

The Lox @ Sony Hall

Late ‘90s hip hop fans are in for a treat with a special headlining performance from NYC’s own The Lox. Forming in 1994, the hip hop trio, which consists of Jadakiss, Styles P, and Sheek Louch, broke onto the mainstream with their 1998 debut album Money, Power & Respect, which includes the singles “If You Think I’m Jiggy” and the title track. Following the release of 2000’s We Are the Streets, all three members embarked on solo careers. In 2016, The Lox unveiled their first album in 16 years with Filthy America... It's Beautiful.

QRTR, Aly Jump @ Elsewhere

Brooklyn artist collective .Wavcave will bring some of their favorites artists to Elsewhere. Headlining the event is QRTR, who has been busy performing in the Big Apple with acts such as Flosstradamus and Phantoms. Aly Jump and some other special guests will also take the stage. Nada Surf, Bwahaha @ Bowery Ballroom

While tickets for Nada Surf’s Music Hall of Williamsburg show are gone, there’s still some left to catch the alternative rock band live. The group will be promoting their upcoming studio album Never Not Together, which will be released on February 7. This is the follow up to their 2016 studio album You Know Who You Are. Bwahaha, which features Ryan Miller of Guster and Arc Iris, will also perform. The act recently debuted their live project iTMRW: A Sci-Fi Ballet, which is based on their forthcoming studio album.

Grammy-nominated producer Cashmere Cat will arrive at Webster Hall to promote their latest studio album Princess Catgirl. The seven track album, which includes the singles "Emotions" and "For Your Eyes Only," peaked at number 12 on the Dance/Electronic Albums charts. Joining Cashmere Cat as support are Zora Jones and Sinjin Hawke. Tickets for Cashmere Cat's postponed December 4th performance will be honored here.

Emily Claman, Nathan Brouillet @ Mercury Lounge

New York City-based singer Emily Claman takes the stage at Mercury Lounge for an early performance. Claman's first single "Gone" gained some buzz through Spotify's Discover Weekly playlist. They're slated to release their debut EP soon. Joining Claman is Nathan Brouillet, who spent 2019 releasing the singles "I Follow A Light" and "Angels In America."

Lovelorn, Reduction Plan @ Gold Sounds Bar

Featuring former members of Philadelphia psychedelic-punk group Creepoid, Lovelorn will make their way to Brooklyn's Gold Sounds Bar for a night of new music. Forming in 2018, the band have unveiled a handful of songs so far, including "Chains" and "Candle." Joining them as support are Reduction Plan, Kissed by an Animal, and Dismal Stars.

The Smithereens (feat. Marshall Crenshaw) @ Sony Hall

Following the death of singer Pat DiNizio in 2017, New Jersey rock group The Smithereens have been using guest vocalists to continue DiNizio's legacy. Their performance inside Sony Hall will feature Marshall Crenshaw, who is best known for his singles "Someday, Someway" and "Whenever You're on My Mind." In 2018, the band was inducted into the New Jersey Hall of Fame.

Virginia Plain, Plates of Cake @ Union Pool

Union Pool will be the place for a double record release show from glam pop group Virginia Plain and psychedelic rockers Plates of Cake. Virginia Plain, which was formed in 2012 by Alfra Martini, unveiled their debut studio album Strange Game last month. Plates of Cake also unveiled their fifth studio album Decline and Fall in December. Indiepop Pale Lights, whose last studio album was 2017's The Stars Seemed Brighter, will open.

The band will have an early show inside Mercury Lounge with support from The Orphan The Poet, who are plugging their Queen Cobra EP.

Cimafunk @ Webster Hall

Erik Iglesias Rodríguez, who is better known as Cimafunk, will bring his Afro-Cuban funk to Webster Hall. In 2017, the artist unveiled their debut album Terapia, which led to accolades and festival appearances around the world. 2019 found the artist collaborating with talent such as Nube Roja ("Estás Pa' Mi"), Tony Succar ("El Tren del Sabor"), and Omara Portuondo ("El Potaje").

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Jake Shimabukuro @ Sony Hall

Swing revival group Big Bad Voodoo Daddy got their big break thanks to the 1996 film Swingers. During their 25+ year career, the band have found themselves performing on the Super Bowl halftime show, Dancing with the Stars, and the Capital One Bowl. Their last studio album was 2017's Louie, Louie, Louie. Joining them as support is ukulele maestro Jake Shimabukuro, who released their latest album The Greatest Day in 2018.

Rén with the Mane, Tiger Darrow, Eleni @ Elsewhere

A trio of NYC rising female artists will join forces for an electric night inside Elsewhere. Headlining the event is Rén with the Mane, who spent 2019 releasing the singles "Just Wanna Lie," "Burnin," and "Fool For You." Last March, Tiger Darrow unveiled their five-song Ugh EP. The artist also collaborated with Elizabeth P.W. on the song "Not Today." Eleni will kick things off.

Epica, Starkill @ Webster Hall

Dutch metal outfit Epica return to NYC to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Design Your Universe. Released in 2009, the record, which became their first to land on the Billboard Heatseekers chart, earned universal acclaim. Last year, Epica unveiled a Gold Edition of the album, which includes five acoustic songs. Joining them as support are Starkill, who are supporting their fourth studio album Gravity.
