Poppy announces 'I Disagree (More),' releases new song "Khaos x4"

Poppy will unveil the deluxe edition of their latest studio album I Disagree next month.

Announced today, I Disagree (More) will be released on August 14 via Sumerian Records. This edition will include four unreleased tunes. One of these tunes titled “Khaos x4” can be heard below. Pre-orders for the release can be made here.

Released back in January, I Disagree became Poppy’s first album to appear in the Top 200 with its debut at 130. The album peaked at number five on the Hard Rock Albums chart.

On September 8, Poppy will unveil their new graphic novel Poppy’s Inferno through Z2 Comics. Pre-orders can be made here. An accompanying soundtrack titled Music To Scream To will be included with all pre-orders.

Deftones announce summer North American tour with Gojira and Poppy

Deftones will be hitting the road this summer in one of the most intriguing lineups seen this year.

Announced today, the alternative metal giants will embark on a headlining tour with support from French progressive metal group Gojira and pop/heavy metal act Poppy. The tour will kick off on July 27 at the Theatre Of The Clouds at Moda Center in Portland, and it’ll conclude with a stop Denver’s Pepsi Center on September 5.

You can check out the full tour routing below. Tickets will go on sale to the general public this Friday (February 14) at 1 p.m. local time.

Deftones have been working on the follow up to their 2016 studio album Gore. Gojira have also been in the studio penning material for the follow up to 2016’s Magma, which earned them two Grammy nominations. Poppy will be supporting their new album I Disagree, which topped the UK Rock and Metal Albums chart and peaked at number five on the Hard Rock Albums chart.

Five panels to catch at Anime NYC 2019

The third annual Anime NYC will arrive at the Javits Center this weekend, and anime fans are gearing up for three days of anime cheer. Ramen lovers won't want to miss Ramen: Illustrated, which is about the new cookbook Let's Make Ramen! Released back in July, this book features a slew of ramen recipes in the form of a comic book. Author Hugh Amano and artist Sarah Becan will discuss how the book was created and what makes ramen so delectable. After the panel, Amano and Becan will sign copies of the book at the Anime NYC autographing area.
