The Good Life announce 'Album Of The Year' Sweet 16 tour with Big Nothing and The New Trust

While most bands are busy hit the road for 15-year anniversary tours, The Good Life are giving their 2004 album Album of the Year the sweet 16 treatment starting in June.

Announced today, the band will celebrate the album’s anniversary with a tour across the United States. The trek kicks off on June 5 inside Philadelphia’s Johnny Brenda's, and it’ll include stops in cities such as Seattle, Los Angeles, and Chicago. Joining them on select dates are Big Nothing and The New Trust.

The full tour routing can be seen below. Tickets will go sale to the general public on this Friday (March 6) at 10 a.m. local time.

Released on Saddle Creek Records, Album of the Year is a concept album about a relationship going through a rough ending. The 12-track release includes a slew of guest performers, including Jenny Lewis, Mike Mogis, and Nate Walcott. The Good Life’s last studio album was 2015’s Everybody's Coming Down.

Armor For Sleep announce 'What To Do When You Are Dead' 15-year anniversary tour

Armor For Sleep will celebrate the 15-year anniversary of What To Do When You Are Dead with a tour across the United States.

Announced today, the tour will kick off on June 18 inside Baltimore Sound Stage in Baltimore, and it’ll have stops in Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and Orlando before concluding inside Fine Line Music Cafe in Minneapolis on August 15.

Tickets for this trek will go on sale to the general public this Friday (February 28) at 10 a.m. local time. You can check out their tour routing below.

Armor For Sleep’s last trek across the country was celebrating the album’s 10-year anniversary in 2015. Released in 2005, What To Do When You Are Dead topped the Heatseekers Albums chart and peaked at number eight on the Independent Albums chart. The concept album, which deals with the aftermath of one person’s suicide, has sold over 200,000 copies since its release.

The Juliana Theory and Mae announce anniversary shows for 'Emotion Is Dead' and 'The Everglow'

The Juliana Theory and Mae will join forces this summer to celebrate the releases of two beloved albums.

Announced yesterday, the bands will embark on a two date trek to commemorate the 20th anniversary of The Juliana Theory’s Emotion Is Dead and the 15th anniversary of Mae’s The Everglow. This special event will only take place in New York City (Music Hall of Williamsburg on Saturday, June 13) and Los Angeles (The Roxy Theatre on Saturday, June 27). Each show will find both bands performing their respective albums in their entirety.

Tickets for these shows will go on sale to the general public this Friday (February 14) at 10 a.m. local time.

Released in 2000, Emotion Is Dead includes the song “We’re At The Top Of The World (To The Simple Two)”, which was featured in the Disney Channel film Motocrossed, Dawson’s Creek, and Smallville. This was the band’s final studio album with Tooth & Nail before signing with Epic Records. The group reunited to perform the album in full during its 10th anniversary.

The Everglow was Mae’s first album to appear in the Top 200 chart with its debut at number 51. Their last studio album was 2018’s Multisensory Aesthetic Experience.

Wavves announce 'King of the Beach' 10th anniversary tour

Earlier this week, indie rock group Wavves got Australian fans excited when they revealed plans to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of King of the Beach on tour. Yesterday, they revealed their North American plans for this special trek.

The North American leg of the tour kicks off on April 10 inside Phoenix’s Rebel Lounge, and it’ll conclude with a performance inside The Wiltern in Los Angeles on May 18. Sadgirl, who are promoting their debut album Water, will be the sole opening act on the whole tour. Tickets will go on sale to the general public this Friday (January 17) at 9 a.m. PST/12 p.m. EST.

Wavves with continue celebrating King of the Beach with a special purple kush vinyl. This variant features the original album art for the 2010 studio album, and it comes with a 7-inch featuring the tracks “Mutant” and “Stained Glass (Won't You Let Me Into Yr Heart),” which were both originally on the album’s Japanese release. Between The Buried and Me announce 20th anniversary tour

Prog metal group Between The Buried and Me will celebrate their 20th anniversary with a special headlining tour.

Announced today, the trek kicks off on May 9 inside The Canal in Richmond, Virginia, and it’ll conclude inside The Underground in Charlotte, North Carolina on June 19. Each night, the band will perform two packed sets. The first set will find them performing songs from their vast discography. The second set will have the band performing The Great Misdirect in its entirety. Released in 2009, the album is their first to crack into the Top 50 with its debut at number 36. The single “Obfuscation” has been featured in the video games Rock Band and Saints Row: The Third.

Circa Survive announce 'Blue Sky Noise' 10 year anniversary tour

Circa Survive will celebrate the 10 year anniversary of their album Blue Sky Noise with a trek across the country.

Announced today, the trek kicks off on March 20 inside Baltimore’s Rams Head Live, and it’ll conclude with a performance inside Philadelphia’s Union Transfer on June 7. You can look at the entire tour routing below.

Aside from a general admission ticket, these bundles include a 3 inch patch, a three song acoustic performance, a Q&A session, a signed setlist, and a first look at the forthcoming Blue Sky Noise documentary. As their major label debut, Blue Sky Noise is Circa Survive’s highest charting album to date (number 11 on the Billboard Top 200 chart). This record showcased the band’s indie rock offering with fan favorites such as “Get Out” and “Glass Arrows.”

Circa Survive’s last release is 2017’s The Amulet, which peaked at number 26 on the Billboard Top 200 chart.

Bad Rabbits announce 'Stick Up Kids' 10 year anniversary shows

Boston funk/R&B group Bad Rabbits have unveiled a trio of dates supporting the 10 year anniversary of their debut EP Stick Up Kids.

Announced today, the band will have a hometown show inside The Sinclair on December 27. Early next year, they’ll head to the West Coast for performances in Los Angeles (The Echo on January 31) and San Francisco (Bottom of the Hill on February 2). This will be the band’s first performances in California in nearly five years.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, October 11.

Released in 2009, Stick Up Kids brought Bad Rabbits on the road with acts such as Mike Posner, Foxy Shazam, and Taking Back Sunday. Their last studio album was 2018’s Mimi.

Thrice announce 'Vheissu' 15 year anniversary tour

Thrice have revealed dates for their Vheissu 15 year anniversary tour.

Announced today, the tour kicks off on January 23 inside San Francisco’s Warfield Theatre, and it’ll conclude with a performance inside The Novo in Los Angeles on February 29. Joining Thrice as support are mewithoutYou, Drug Church, and Holy Fawn.

Released in 2005, Vheissu is considered one of the best post-hardcore albums of all time. The 11 track release features the single “Image of the Invisible,” which peaked at number 24 on the Mainstream Rock charts.

Thrice’s last studio album was 2018’s Palms. Back in April, they released Deeper Wells, which features songs recorded during the Palms sessions.

Mayday Parade announce 'Anywhere But Here' 10 year anniversary shows

Released in 2009, Mayday Parade’s major label debut Anywhere But Here brought fan favorites “Kids In Love” and the title track. To celebrate its 10 year anniversary, the Florida band will play a select number of shows across the country.
