After 28 years, Daft Punk called it quits today.

The announcement came via a seven-minute video titled “Epilogue,” which you can see below. It’s not known if Daft Punk members Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter will embark on solo careers or release new music together under a different name.

Formed in 1993, Daft Punk turned heads with their 1995 single "Da Funk," which topped the Dance Club Songs chart in the U.S. The duo’s 1997 debut album Homework would go on to sell over two million copies and further establish them in the electronic music scene. Overall, Daft Punk released four studio albums, including 2013’s Random Access Memories. The record earned the group four out of their six career Grammy wins, including Album of the Year.

Unlike most acts, Daft Punk were rarely on the road to promote their material. The group only embarked on two headlining tours in support of music: 1997’s Daftendirektour and 2006/2007’s Alive Tour. Both treks spawned live albums.
