Ziggurat Interactive announces Deadly Dozen Reloaded
Publisher Ziggurat Interactive will bring an old squad-based FPS back to modern consoles,
Announced on Thursday, Deadly Dozen Reloaded is an updated version of the 2001 titled Deadly Dozen, which was developed by NFusion Interactive. Inspired by the 1967 war film The Dirty Dozen, the game allows players to control 12 powerful individuals in their quest to be pardoned for their previous crimes. A 2002 sequel titled Deadly Dozen: Pacific Theater was released on PC.
Deadly Dozen Reloaded features a ton of upgrades from the original title, including enhanced audio and reworked AI. Unlike the original title, permadeath has been removed in this version, which means you can keep using individuals even after they died during a mission.
Michael Devine, SVP of Business Development at Ziggurat Interactive said this about the title:
"The Deadly Dozen games are unique military shooters that reward careful planning and clever tactics as much as they do pure shooting skills. Since the release of the original game in 2001, tactical shooters exploded in popularity, and we’re delighted to introduce fans to this refreshed and enhanced version of one of the originators of the genre.”
Deadly Dozen Reloaded will be released on consoles and PC this spring. The title can be wishlisted on Steam right now.
