Thursday release new single "Taking Inventory Of A Frozen Lake"
New Jersey post-hardcore band Thursday kicked off 2025 with a new song.
Released yesterday, “Taking Inventory Of A Frozen Lake” is the A-side to their previous single “White Bikes.” The band said this about the new single, which can be heard here:
“Frozen Lake began life at Steve Evetts’s studio in Jersey on off days when we toured with MCR in 2022. The lyrics refer to the dark night of the soul that people encounter when they are forced to examine their pasts. It reminds us of an updated version of the kind of songs we gravitated towards in the Full Collapse era and we are so blessed and so happy to share it with you.”
Starting next week, Thursday will embark on a North American tour alongside Silverstein, Arm’s Length, and Split Chain. Following this trek, they’ll join Silverstein for the band’s European/U.K. tour, which includes special guests The Callous Daoboys and Bloom. The band will also have shows alongside My Chemical Romance and Coheed and Cambria later in 2025. Tour dates can be seen below. Tickets are on sale to the general public right now here.
