Three Days Grace announce return of original singer Adam Gontier
Canadian hard rock band Three Days Grace is bringing an old face back to the crew.
Revealed today, original vocalist Adam Gontier will return to the band for some new music. Matt Walst, who joined the band in 2013, will stay as vocalist. Gontier reunited with Three Days Grace for some one-off performances last year.
Gontier said this about returning to the band:
“I feel like it’s been seamless, better than we were expecting. It’s like we got back in a room together and picked up where we left off. We have been friends for so long it's kind of natural to get back in the room together.”
Walst also said:
“It’s been so much fun and inspiring making this record. Combining over 20 years of Three Days Grace and doing something that no band has ever done. I’m excited for the fans to hear it!”
New music from the band featuring both Gontier and Walst on vocals as well as touring plans will be released soon. Their last studio album was 2022’s Explosions.
