Third Eye Blind announce 2022 summer tour with Taking Back Sunday and Hockey Dad
Third Eye Blind will continue celebrating the 25th anniversary of their debut album on tour this summer.
Announced today, the band’s headlining tour will kick off on June 22 at Troutdale’s Edgefield, and it’ll conclude on August 13 at Irvine’s FivePoint Amphitheatre. For this trek, Third Eye Blind will be joined by Taking Back Sunday, whose last studio album was 2016’s Tidal Wave, and Hockey Dad, who are supporting their latest album Brain Candy.
Third Eye Blind’s Stephan Jenkins said this about the summer trek:
“The Summer Gods tour always means to us outdoors in warm nights, music and collective joy. In that spirit, it is a treat to make it a whole day of music. We have been wanting to tour with Taking Back Sunday for several years now and Hockey Dad is essential listening on all of our playlists. It's serendipitous that they will be able to join on the Third Eye Blind’s 25th anniversary. Twenty-five years prompts us to take stock of ourselves, so everyone should expect a comprehensive set list with all of the songs that meant the most to our fans from the last 25 years as well as songs that are inspiring us now.”
The entire tour routing can be seen below. Pre-sale tickets will go live tomorrow (February 15) at 10 a.m. local time. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday (February 18). A portion of ticket sales will go to SeaTrees.
