The Living Tombstone's AudioClash: Battle of the Bands hits Steam Early Access on August 17
The Living Tombstone’s free-to-play rock music competition game AudioClash: Battle of the Bands is arriving on Steam Early Access on August 17.
The game will allow players to customize their own rock band before battling other players online for rock supremacy. During the battle, players will be able to use cards to help change things around. The roster will include some familiar faces, including YouTube cover artists Jonathan Young and Charlie Green b.k.a. CG5.
Big Boat Interactive CEO said this about the game:
“When we considered how a band would battle, we thought about what each band member is doing at any given time, both for the audience and each other. The vocalist leads the offensive, lifting everyone’s spirits. The bassist? Well, they’re the base, the foundation of the song—much like a tank in RPGs.”
The Living Tombstone’s Sam Haft also chimed in on the project:
“It’s really important for us to not just pay homage to video games—which quite literally made The Living Tombstone who we are—but to truly contribute to this amazing space with something new. I’m most proud of how every ability in AudioClash is tied to a small, unique piece of music. Over the course of a battle, players are literally arranging new tracks as they duel.”
Interested gamers can head here to sign up for the closed beta. The game can be wishlisted on Steam right now.
