The Funeral Portrait team up with The Used's Bert McCracken for “You’re So Ugly When You Cry”
Emo rock band The Funeral Portrait have joined forces with one of the genre’s most recognizable voices.
Today, the band released the single “You’re So Ugly When You Cry,” which features guest vocals from The Used's Bert McCracken. An accompanying music video for the song, which can be seen below, was directed by James Wightman.
Vocalist Lee Jennings said this about collaborating with McCraken:
“Working with Bert was a lifelong dream come true for us. We all grew up with The Used being one of our biggest influences and it was a surreal moment when he reached back out saying he loved the song and wanted to be involved.”
Starting next week, The Funeral Portrait will embark on a spring tour with Dead On A Sunday and NITE. The band will also have appearances at So What?! Music Festival, Louder Than Life, and Aftershock Festival. Tour dates can be seen below. Tickets are on sale to the general public right now.
“You’re So Ugly When You Cry” is available on digital services via Better Noise Music.
