Concerts are back in full swing, and music lovers can’t wait to safely check out their favorite artists when they come to town. These are five great concerts going down in New York City from Monday, October 25 through Sunday, October 31.
Tuesday, October 26
Alien Weaponry, Loss Becomes @ Saint Vitus Bar (7 p.m.) (tickets)
New Zealand thrash metal group Alien Weaponry will head to NYC for a headlining gig in the midst of their supporting run alongside Gojira. The band unveiled their sophomore studio album Tangaroa last month. Loss Becomes, which features members of Tiger Flowers and Wings Denied, will open.
Yves Tumor @ Webster Hall (8 p.m.) (tickets)
Yves Tumor will headline Webster Hall in promotion of their latest studio album Heaven to a Tortured Mind (which landed on our Best Albums of 2020 list) and new EP The Asymptotical World. ECCO2K, Deli Girls, No Bra, and Club Eat will open.
Wednesday, October 27
Local H, Radkey @ (Le) Poisson Rouge (6:30 p.m.) (tickets)
Local H’s Lifers tour will make a stop inside NYC’s (Le) Poisson Rouge. Earlier this month, the band dropped the Local H's Awesome Quarantine Mix Tape 3, which includes a slew of covers of acts such as Prince and Fountains of Wayne. Radkey, who are supporting their 2020 studio album Green Room, will open the show.
Thursday, October 28
Quicksand @ Bowery Ballroom (8 p.m.) (tickets)
Beloved post-hardcore group Quicksand will have a two-night stint in the Big Apple. While tickets for their Bowery Ballroom show on Friday are sold out, there’s some tickets left for their Thursday appearance. The band will be promoting their new studio album Distant Populations. Narrowhead and Reach will also perform.
Friday, October 29
Ruby The Hatchet, Deathchant @ Union Pool (7 p.m.) (tickets)
Psychedelic rock band Ruby The Hatchet will perform some new material at their headlining gig inside Union Pool. The band will unveil the follow-up to their 2017 studio album Planetary Space Child next year. Deathchant, Grandpa Jack, and Dead Things will also perform.
