Concerts are back in full swing, and music lovers can’t wait to safely check out their favorite artists when they come to town. These are five great concerts going down in New York City from Monday, November 15 through Sunday, November 21.
Tuesday, November 16
Municipal Waste, Crowbar @ Warsaw (7 p.m.) (tickets)
Crossover thrash metal band Municipal Waste will bring their U.S. fall tour to Brooklyn’s Warsaw. The band will unveil their seventh studio album next year via Nuclear Blast. Their last release through the label was the 2019 EP The Last Rager. Joining them as support are Crowbar, Skeletal Remains, and Dead Heat.
Thursday, November 18
Vended, Omerta @ Saint Vitus Bar (7 p.m.) (tickets)
Vended, which features the sons of Slipknot’s Corey Taylor and M. Shawn “Clown” Crahan, will have their first-ever performance inside New York City. The metal act, who recently performed at Knotfest Los Angeles, will be promoting their debut EP What Is It/Kill It. Omerta and Hazing Over will also perform.
Friday, November 19
Murder By Death, Shawn James @ Warsaw (7 p.m.) (tickets)
Indie rock act Murder By Death will bring their 20th anniversary tour to Warsaw for a massive celebration. Shawn James, who will be promoting their latest solo album The Guardian Collection, will be the opening act.
Saturday, November 20
Breathe Carolina, onlychild @ Mercury Lounge (7 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.) (tickets)
Breathe Carolina will have two performances inside Mercury Lounge. The EDM duo recently landed at number 62 on the DJMag100 list for 2021. onlychild will join them as support for their 10:30 p.m. show.
Dinosaur Jr., Ryley Walker @ Brooklyn Steel (8 p.m.) (tickets)
Beloved alternative rock group Dinosaur Jr. will be promoting their latest studio album Sweep It Into Space inside Brooklyn Steel. Ryley Walker, who unveiled a live album with Tokyo’s Kikagaku Moyo and their sixth studio album this year, will also perform.
