Wednesday, January 31
Microdose Comedy @ The Fable (1630 Colorado Blvd)

Microdose Comedy takes over The Fable for another night of laughs delivered by comedians Lisa Wallen, Opey Olagbaju, Ana-Marija Stojic, Kyle Ayers, John O'Neill Roy, and Alex Falcone. This event is free to the public.
Thursday, February 1
The Disco Biscuits @ Fonda Theatre (6126 Hollywood Blvd)
Doors: 7 p.m. (tickets)
Philadelphia jam band The Disco Biscuits will bring their Why We Dance tour to Los Angeles with support from Omega Views. If you can't make the show, the band will deliver a live audio stream of the performance on Nugs. More information about the streams can be found here. The Disco Biscuits will unveil their new studio album Revolution in Motion on March 29.
Poison Ruin @ Zebulon (2478 Fletcher Dr)

Philadelphia punk band Poison Ruin will kick off their West Coast tour at Zebulon. The band will be promoting their latest studio album Harvest, which is out on Relapse Records. Blazing Eye, Death Rites, and Tube Alloys will join them as support.

Swimming Bell @ Permanent Records Roadhouse (1906 Cypress Ave)

New York folk rock act Swimming Bell will celebrate the release of their new album Swimming Bell at Permanent Records Roadhouse. The 10-track album was co-produced by the artist and Oli Deakin. Sam Buck and Wayne Faler will also perform.
Digable Planets @ The Belasco (1050 S Hill St)

Influential hip hop act Digable Planets are bringing their Reachin' 30th anniversary tour to Los Angeles' Belasco Theater. Released in 1993, Reachin' (A New Refutation of Time and Space) features their Top 40 hit "Rebirth of Slick (Cool Like Dat)." The song would give the act their first Grammy win for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group. Old Man Saxon will be the opening act.

Trial & Error: An Improvised Court Battle @ The Yard Theater (4319 Melrose Avenue)

Trial & Error: An Improvised Court Battle will turn one of your worst scenarios into a court case for the ages. Reed Rosenberg, Bryn Doyle, Hannah Hedrick, Jaymie Parkkinen, Talia Lefkowitz, and Liam Clancy will take part of the proceedings.
Desert Daze Nights @ Gold-Diggers (5632 Santa Monica Blvd)
Doors: 7 p.m. (free with RSVP) 21+
Desert Daze Nights returns to Gold-Diggers with live performances from Healing Gems and Monde UFO alongside DJ sets from DJ Boogie Boudreaux. The event is free to the public with RSVP.
Emo Night Brooklyn @ Echoplex (1154 Glendale Blvd)
Doors: 9 p.m. (tickets) 21+
Emo Night Brooklyn, who are celebrating their nine-year anniversary, will take over the Echoplex for a night of emo classics. The night will feature a special appearance by Hot Chelle Rae's Nash Overstreet, who has been writing songs for acts such as Britney Spears and Meghan Trainor.
