Thursday, August 29
Brujeria @ Alex's Bar

Los Angeles’ Brujeria will kick off their U.S. headlining tour inside Alex's Bar in Long Beach. Flattbush and Skullcrack will be the opening acts. Brujeria will be touring in support of their latest studio album Esto Es Brujeria. This will be the band's first tour since the death of their longtime backing vocalist/sampler Pinche Peach last month.
Friday, August 30
Hostile Takeover @ UCB Theatre
Doors: 9:45 p.m. (tickets) 15+
For one hour, the staff of UCB will host a variety show filled with stand-up comedy, performances, improv, and musical improv.
Saturday, August 31
Fools In Love @ Hollywood Park
Doors: 11 a.m. (tickets)
Fools In Love Festival brings together a plethora of R&B and funk acts for an entire day filled with classic jams. Lionel Richie, Smoky Robinson, and Kool & The Gang are among the acts slated to perform.
California Is For Lovers Festival @ The Torch at LA Coliseum
Doors: 3 p.m. (tickets)
Emo and pop-punk fans will pack The Torch at LA Coliseum for Hawthorne Heights’ California Is For Lovers Festival. Among those joining the beloved band during the event are Saosin, Finch, and the reunion of A Static Lullaby. Hawthorne Heights are currently on the road celebrating the 20th anniversary of The Silence in Black and White.
