The B-52s announce farewell tour
Beloved new wave band The B-52s will be saying goodbye with one last tour.
Announced today, the trek will kick off on August 22 at Seattle’s McCaw Hall, and it’ll conclude on November 11 at Atlanta’s Fox Theatre. On select dates, the band will be joined by The Tubes and KC and the Sunshine Band.
Tickets for this trek will go on sale to the general public this Friday (April 29) at noon EST/9 a.m. PST. Pre-sale tickets will go on sale tomorrow (April 27) at noon EST/ 9 a.m. PST.
The B-52s last studio album was 2008’s Funplex, which debuted at number 11 on the Billboard Top 200 chart.
