Vein officially change name to Vein.FM, compilation 'Old Data In A New Machine, Vol. 1' out now

Over the past few months, fans of Boston hardcore band Vein have noticed the band’s sudden name change to Vein.FM on their official YouTube videos. Now, the band have officially revealed they’ve changed their name to Vein.FM.

This news comes alongside the release of their new compilation album Old Data In A New Machine Vol. 1, which was released on Monday. The release features re-recorded tracks, demos, and remixes. It also includes the new single “20 Seconds: 20 Hours,” which you can hear below. The compilation can be streamed on digital services right now. Physical pre-orders can be made here. These pre-orders will ship in late September.

The follow up to Vein.FM’s 2018 studio album Errorzone will be released in the near future.

Vein announce headlining tour with Soft Kill and Higher Power

Boston hardcore band Vein will continue plugging their debut album Errorzone with a headlining tour this fall.

Revealed today, the tour kicks off on September 4 inside Montreal’s Theatre Fairmount, and it will conclude with a hometown performance in Middle East on October 13.

For the entire trek, Soft Kill and Higher Power will join as support. On select dates, however, they’ll be bringing some friends along. From September 4 through September 24, Modern Color will hop on the trek. From September 26 through September 29, Dead Heat will arrive as special guests. The tour’s two Texas dates (October 1 and October 2) will feature Narrow Head. From October 4 through October 13, Silenus will perform.
