Over the years, Sparta fans have wondered if the group will ever unveil a follow up to their 2006 studio album Threes. Today, the group have announced their fourth studio album titled Trust The River, which arrives on April 10. The first single from the record titled “Believe” can be heard below. Sparta will support the album with select shows across the United States this spring. Their trek kicks off on April 23 inside San Francisco’s Bottom of the Hill, and it’ll feature two-night stints inside New York City’s Mercury Lounge (April 29 and April 30) and Philadelphia’s Boot & Saddle (May 1 and May 2) before ending things inside Somerville’s Once Ballroom on May 3. Tickets for this shows go on sale tomorrow (January 24).
