It’s the time Clutch fans in the Northeast have been waiting for: the reveal of their annual holiday shows.
Announced yesterday, Clutch’s trek kicks off on December 27 inside Cincinnati’s Bogarts, and it will include stops inside Asheville’s Orange Peel (December 28), Washington, DC’s 9:30 Club (December 29), Sayreville’s Starland Ballroom (December 30), and Philadelphia’s Union Transfer on New Year’s Eve.
Joining them on the whole trek as main support are Nashville country act The Steel Woods, who will support their latest album Old News. Damon Johnson of Thin Lizzy fame, who released Memoirs of an Uprising last year, will open the tour except for the Asheville performance. Johnson will be replaced by Nashville hard rockers Tyler Bryant and the Shakedown, who are promoting their latest release Truth and Lies.
Tickets for this trek will go on sale to the general public tomorrow (September 28) at noon EST.
Clutch are currently on a fall headlining tour, which will make stops in Tennessee and Michigan this weekend. Check out their tour routing below.
Clutch’s last studio album was 2018’s Book of Bad Decisions. Over the summer they’ve been releasing a series of singles under the Weathermaker Vault Series banner. They recently re-recorded their classic song “Electric Worry” without the keyboards and harmonica found in the original version.
