With Valentine’s Day arriving soon, pop superstar Carly Rae Jepsen released their new song “Let’s Be Friends” today. “’Let’s Be Friends’ is about the little lie we all share to soften the blow of a breakup. This Valentine’s Day I’d prefer to just rip off the band aid. See you never!” jepsen said in a statement. The lyric video for the song can be seen below.

The artist also revealed a handful of performances in the West Coast surrounding their Coachella appearances. They’ll have headlining gigs inside Oakland’s Fox Theater on April 12, Seattle’s Moore Theatre on April 14, and Portland’s Roseland Theater on April 16. Tickets for these three shows go on sale Valentine’s Day at 10 a.m. local time, but pre-sale tickets will go live on Tuesday (February 11) at 10 a.m. local time here with the code “FRIENDS.”

Jepsen is currently on tour in Europe supporting their latest studio album Dedicated, which peaked at number 18 on the Billboard Top 200 chart.
