Anime Impulse 2020 rocks Los Angeles' Fairplex this weekend

Anime lovers from all over Los Angeles will flock to the Fairplex for the fifth annual Anime Impulse convention.

This year’s convention will include a slew of guests from the anime world, including Cristina Vee (Sailor Moon), Mick Lauer (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure), and Allegra Clark (Aggretsuko). Aside from guests, there will be panels with the cast of Fire Emblem Three Houses and Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir.

For cosplayers, this event gives them the chance to showcase their talents with the cosplay showcase, cosplay parade, and cosplay contest. The cosplay showcase, which unites cosplayers from various fandoms, takes place from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The parade will take place each day at 12: 30 p.m. At 6 p.m. on Sunday, the cosplay contest will close out the event.

Deva Marie added to Anime Impulse

Anime Impulse will take over the Pomona Fairplex on January 18 and January 19 for some grand anime fun. With a slew of guests set for the event, the folks behind Anime Impulse have revealed another name for their lineup.

Today, Deva Marie announced an appearance at the two-day anime event. They’re best known for being the voice of Flayn in Fire Emblem: Three Houses and Kotaro in Sailor Moon SuperS. Marie will join fellow Fire Emblem voice actors Chris Hackney, Joe Zieja, Xanthe Huynh, and Christian La Monte.
