San Diego Comic-Con 2021 officially cancelled, November convention announced
Another convention has been cancelled due to COVID.
Revealed today, San Diego Comic-Con will no longer take place from July 22 through July 25. Fortunately, Comic-Con International will bring back their virtual convention Comic-Con@Home, which arrives from July 23 through July 25.
Fans won’t have to wait another year to have an in-person convention, though. Comic-Con International has announced plans to hold a convention in November in San Diego. More information about this convention will be announced soon.
People with badges for the 2021 event can have those badges rolled over to next year’s installment, which will arrive from July 20 through July 24, 2022. Information about rolling over tickets and getting refunds will be emailed to badge holders soon.
Last month, Comic-Con International announced WonderCon will be holding their WonderCon@Home digital convention later this month.
