Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon to premiere on Crunchyroll this July
The premiere date for forthcoming anime Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon has been unveiled.
The anime will debut on July 5 with Crunchyroll airing it outside of Japan. The voice cast for the forthcoming show has also been announced, which can be seen below alongside a trailer featuring BRADIO’s new single (and anime opening theme) "Fanfare.” Last summer, an anime adaptation for Hirukuma and Ituwa Kato’s light novel was announced. Studio Gokumi and AXsiZ are adapting the anime with Noriaki Akitaya as the director, Tatsuya Takahashi as the writer, and Yuta Uraki and Keita Takahashi as the show’s composers.
A synopsis for the show reads:
After dying in a traffic accident, I find myself standing near an unfamiliar lake. My body won't move, I can't hear my voice, and when I try to shout in confusion, words that I never expected come out! "Get one free with a winner." I-it seems I've turned into a vending machine...! I can only do what actual vending machines can. It's impossible to move by myself, and there's no way for me to have any meaningful conversation-how am I going to survive some fantasy world's dungeon like this?!
