Point and click story Best Month Ever! announced
Klabater and Warsaw Film School Video Game & Film Production Studio have unveiled their new titled Best Month Ever! today.
The point and click game follows single mom Louise and their son Mitch in an emotional story. With one month to live because of a terminal illness, Louise must teach their son how to be a better person before they have to say goodbye. With multiple endings, the player must make important choices that will affect how Mitch grows as a person. The game’s intro can be seen below.
Klabater co-CEO Michal Gembicki said this about the new title:
“We are so excited to finally announce Best Month Ever. It is a unique game created by a talented team of veteran game developers in cooperation with Warsaw Film School. And you can really feel the road movie vibe that is so characteristic to 60s and 70s cinematography, where you could always expect a compelling story and convincing protagonists. One can certainly see some similarities to Life is Strange or even cult classics like the Wonder Years TV series. And what makes the game special is that it is an extremely interesting take on the unique relationship between mother and son.”
Game director Maciej Szczesnik said this:
“It is a pleasure to work with Klabater since they really feel narrative-driven games regardless of the genre. They published such indie gems as We. The Revolution and Help Will Come Tomorrow, both being ambitious takes on a story-driven field. I believe Best Month Ever really fits their publishing portfolio and I’m looking forward to working with them!”
Best Month Ever! will arrive on PC, Xbox One/Series X, PlayStation 4 & 5, and Nintendo Switch. The game can be wishlisted on Steam right now.
