Pallbearer release music video for "The Quicksand of Existing"
Doom metal group Pallbearer have unveiled the music video for “The Quicksand of Existing” today.
The visual, which was directed by Ben Meredith, can be seen below. When discussing the song, bassist Joseph D. Rowland said:
“As we strive to be, the forces of entropy perpetually pull us down into a state of being unmade. The body degrades; the mind and memories fray into unwoven threads, no longer connected to the rich fabric of the self. Choices made upon our separate and conjoined paths may find us engulfed in a mire of our unmaking. I wanted this song to face this reality with a grim determination.”
The song comes from Pallbearer’s upcoming studio album Forgotten Days, which arrives on October 23 via Nuclear Blast. Physical pre-orders can be made here while digital pre-orders can be purchased here.
Forgotten Days is the follow up to Pallbearer’s 2017 Heartless, which topped the Heatseekers Albums chart and peaked at number eight on both Independent Albums and Hard Rock Albums charts.
