Orla Gartland releases new single "Heavy" from forthcoming 'Freckle Season' EP

Indie pop singer Orla Gartland is over a month away from the release of her new Freckle Season EP. With two singles (“Figure It Out” and “Did It To Myself”) gaining massive streams, she unveiled the third single titled “Heavy” yesterday. “‘Heavy' is a tribute to someone I desperately miss. Obviously break ups are shit but I didn't properly grasp that until I was right in the thick of it, up late one night scanning over every tiny detail of the relationship - how I felt when we were together, what they wore, the shows we binge watched together. I finally realised that even if it’s the right thing to do, cutting ties with someone you love probably should feel this hard,” Gartland stated.

Pre-orders for Freckle Season, which officially arrives on February 21, are available here. This is the follow up to Gartland’s debut EP Why Am I Like This?, which earned her over 15 million streams on Spotify.

The artist will be supporting Cavetown on their European tour this April. You can view their upcoming tour dates below.
