The nominees for this year’s ASCAP Composers' Choice Awards have been announced today.

For films, Hans Zimmer (Dune), Daniel Hart (The Green Knight), and Germaine Franco (Encanto) are among those in the running for Film Score of the Year. Wendy Blackstone (9to5: The Story of a Movement), Anne-Kathrin Dern and Sharon Farber (Women Warriors: The Voices of Change), and Uno Helmersson (Flee) are some of the folks nominated for Documentary Score of the Year.

In the TV categories, Natalie Holt, Michael Abels, Cristobal Tapia de Veer, and Drum & Lace and Ian Hultquist have been nominated in both Television Score of the Year and Television Theme of the Year categories. In the video game category, Austin Wintory (Aliens: Fireteam Elite), Lena Raine (Chicory: A Colorful Tale), and Wataru Hokoyama (Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart) are among those nominated for their work. Winners for this year’s ASCAP Composers' Choice Awards will be announced during the week of May 2. Eligible ASCAP writer members can vote until March 11.
