Today, Square Enix has announced the sequel to the beloved 2007 game The World Ends with You.

NEO: The World Ends with You finds players back in Shibuya while taking the role of Rindo, who is forced into playing the Reapers’ Game. The announcement trailer can be seen below. The game is currently in development, and it is set for a Summer 2021 release on the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. The title is not yet rated.

2021 will also see the release of The World Ends with You: The Animation. The anime adaptation, which is a collaboration between Square Enix, DOMERICA, and Shin-Ei Animation, is set to arrive in April 2021 via Funimation. A new trailer for the anime, which was also released today, can be seen below.
