Nearly seven million people watched GlitchCon this past weekend
While TwitchCon couldn’t go down, Twitch decided on the next best thing this past weekend: GlitchCon.
Through four different channels, Twitch brought in over 6.7 million viewers to the party. One of the biggest highlights of the event was Twitch donating $1 million to AbleGamers, a non-profit that provides people with disabilities custom gaming setups. This donation helped them surpass their $1 million goal for 2020.

In 2020, more than 13 million people decided to stream for the first time on Twitch.
Twitch welcomed their 50,000th Partner, with 8,550 creators making partner this year alone.
Twitch added 548,000 Affiliates this year bringing the total number of Affiliates to more than 1.2 million.
More than 850,000 creators earn revenue from either commerce or ads on Twitch each month - and that number has more than doubled over the past 12 months
In 2020, the number of streamers who make money streaming on Twitch doubled from their all time high in 2019. Twitch also more than doubled the total amount of revenue paid out to creators from 2019 to 2020.
