mui zyu releases new single "please be ok (ft. Miss Grit)"
Experimental pop artist Eva Liu b.k.a. mui zyu has delivered one more single before the release of their new album nothing or something to die for.
Revealed yesterday, “please be ok” finds mui zyu collaborating with NYC indie-pop artist Miss Grit. The artist said this about the song and working with Miss Grit:
"'please be ok' means many things, it can be supportive, judgemental, mediocre, passable, fine (whatever that means), it can be good after bad, or bad after good, everything... or nothing - pure absurdity really. when i started this song i wondered if it would be ok to ask Miss Grit to help with it, when they said 'ok', i thought 'ok this is the best news'. they brought all sorts of magic to the song and production making it extra special (which is more than ok)."
nothing or something to die for will be released tomorrow (May 24) via Father/Daughter Records. Pre-orders for the record can be made here. mui zyu will have a slew of festival performances and headlining shows in the U.K. and Europe. Tour dates can be seen below.
