Molchat Doma announce 2025 North American tour with Sextile
Post-punk band Molchat Doma will come back to North America in support of their upcoming album Belaya Polosa.
Announced today, the trek, which will feature support from Sextile, will kick off on January 16 at Las Vegas’ AREA15, and it’ll conclude on March 5 at Oakland’s Fox Theatre. Tour dates can be seen below. Tickets for their North American shows will go on sale to the general public this Friday (August 9) at 10 a.m. local time here.
Alongside the tour announcement, Molchat Doma have also released the title track from their new album, which has an accompanying music video here. The band said this about the single:
"Written in LA after more than a year of living in a new place, the song captures the interplay of past and present. It reflects the realization that you're no longer drawn to where you left, yet you don't completely sever ties. It's as if life has been paused. The lyrics explore self-understanding across time, the evolution of your social circle, and an outsider’s view of people from a 'past life’."
