matsuri ‘25: Japanese Music Experience Los Angeles announced
Three major Japanese music artists will join forces for one jam-packed event.
Revealed yesterday, Japan Culture and Entertainment Industry Promotion Association (CEPIA) will deliver matsuri ‘25: Japanese Music Experience Los Angeles on Sunday, March 16 at Peacock Theater. Ado, Atarashii Gakko!, and Yoasobi will perform at the event.
A description of the event reads:
"This music event will focus on Japanese artists with world-class quality and promote their appeal to the world. In addition to live performances by three artists who are attracting attention in the overseas music scene, Ado, Atarashii Gakkou no Leaders, and YOASOBI, there will also be a press conference hosted by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) for Japanese and American music industry professionals and media."
Pre-sale tickets for the event will go live tomorrow (January 30) at 10 a.m. local time. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday (January 31) at 10 a.m. local time. Tickets can be purchased here. Proceeds from ticket sales will go towards Los Angeles fire relief efforts.
CEPIA will hold the inaugural Music Awards Japan on May 21 and May 22 at the Rohm Theatre in Kyoto, Japan. The event will be livestreamed on YouTube for fans of Japanese music worldwide. More information about the awards ceremony can be found here.
