Rising pop artist Lyn Lapid dropped their first single of 2022 titled “I Guess That Was Goodbye” yesterday.

The track, which can be heard below, was produced by Wendy Wang (Tori Kelly, Nick Jonas, Terror Jr). Lapid said this about the new song:

“We all have that one person who we didn’t get enough time with before they left. For me, that person was multiple people: my old high school friends. Last August when I was doing writing sessions in LA, my friends were all back home in Maryland saying goodbye to each other before they moved away for college. I never got to say goodbye to them in person because I was away, and when I returned to Maryland, they were all gone. I feel like a lot of people can relate to the bittersweet feeling of an abrupt goodbye.”

“I Guess That Was Goodbye” is available on digital services right now. Lapid is currently on the road supporting Eric Nam. Tour dates can be seen below. Tickets are on sale to the general public right now.
