Las Vegas pop-punk band Mercy Music release new single “Love You/Need You”
Las Vegas pop-punk band Mercy Music have dropped their new single “Love You/Need You” today.
An accompanying music video, which can be seen below, was directed by Eric Cannon (Atmosphere, Ant-Flag). Vocalist/guitarist Brendan Scholz said this about the new song:
“This song is about coming to terms with the fact that the person you’re in love with is no longer in love with you. There is all of the physical and mental pain that comes with [heartbreak], along with trying to handle it all and using it to try and grow to be better. The lyrics in the chorus were a way of narrowing down things said to me throughout the situation.”
“Love You/Need You” stems from Mercy Music’s forthcoming studio album What You Stand To Lose, which will be released on June 30th via Double Helix Records/SBÄM Records.
Mercy Music are currently on the road with Unwritten Law, Authority Zero, and Eternal Boy. This weekend, the band will make their way to New Orleans, Atlanta, and Nashville. Tour dates can be seen below. Tickets are on sale to the general public right now here.
