The most controversial anime series released this year will see a Blu-Ray release.

On Saturday, Right Stuf revealed plans to give Interspecies Reviewers a Blu-Ray release sometime in 2021. The release will come through Right Stuf’s adult-oriented Critical Mass Video.

Based on the manga series of the same name, Interspecies Reviewers debuted on January 11. The show’s NSFW content led to Funimation, Amazon Prime Video, Tokyo MX, and SUN removing the series from their networks/services. The synopsis for the show reads: “In a world bursting at the seams with moe monsters and humanoids of the horned sort, which brave heroes will take it upon themselves to review the beastly babes of the red-light district? Behold the most tantalizing of trials.”

On January 19, 2021, Right Stuf will release Interspecies Reviewers Comic Anthology, which is a tribute to the manga series with work from Okayado, ZTon, and Gashigashi. Pre-orders for this 192-page release can be made here.
