In 2014, Texas based industrial act Street Sects kickstarted their five EP series titled Gentrification. Following Gentrification II: Broken Windows, Sunken Ceilings, the band started working on their 2016 debut album End Position. While they wanted to resume the Gentrification series, touring got in the way.

Today, they announced plans to revive the series with Gentrification III: Death and Displacement, which comes out August 2, 2019. To coincide with the announcement, they offered their new single “Goodbye Recidivist Road” for your listening pleasure. Fans can pre-order the two song release on their Bandcamp page. Street Sects will embark on an eight date tour starting on July 10. Back in October, they released their sophomore studio album The Kicking Mule.
