Ginger Winn announces debut album 'Stop-Motion'
South Carolina-born, South Africa-based singer-songwriter Ginger Winn will deliver their debut studio album this June.
Stop-Motion will be released on June 7. The 10-track album found Winn working with producer David Baron (The Lumineers, Noah Kahan, Shawn Mendes). Baron said this about working with Winn:
"Ginger Winn is a rare diamond. A mature artist who has not released music before (almost unheard of these days). Her style and songs are diverse in style. They are unified by her personality which is both approachable and a bit mysterious. She has an interesting career ahead of her.
The album feels like a memoir. It captures that ‘day in the life’ like many of the best books and records. I recommend listening to the record as a unified whole. It is exciting to be involved in the inception of an artist as powerful as Ginger."
To celebrate the album’s announcement, Winn unveiled their new single "Frosting,” which comes with an accompanying music video produced by Tina Baione. Pre-orders for Stop-Motion can be made here.
On Wednesday May 29, Winn will support beccs at The Avalon Lounge in Catskill, New York. Tickets for this show can be purchased here.
