Cult of the Lamb-style weddings will go down at PAX Australia
Devolver Digital and Massive Monster will bring two real weddings to PAX Australia in October.
Revealed today, two Cult of the Lamb-style weddings will go down at 11am and 3pm AEST on Sunday, Oct. 13 near the Handheld Lounge and the entrance to the Main Theatre. The ceremonies will go down at a faithful life-size replica of the Cult of the Lamb Temple found in the game. This will be a non-ticketed event, so attendees can watch this unfold for no additional charge.
Julian Wilton, Creative Director at Massive Monster said this about the event:
“Last year, we threw an epic rave at Federation Square, and over 6,000 people showed up. So, we thought, how do we top that this year? Easy… wedding rituals!”
We’re definitely dialing up the crazy, but it’s all for you, our amazing fans. The love you’ve shown for our game has been incredible, and now it’s time to spread that love. And what better way to do that than by legally marrying two awesome couples?”
PAX Australia will take place from October 11 through October 13 at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre in Melbourne, Australia. While three-day and Saturday badges are sold out, there’s still Friday and Sunday badges available here.
Released back in 2022, Cult of the Lamb earned a slew of accolades, including four wins at the Australian Game Developer Awards. More information about the game can be found here.
