Citizen announce new album 'Life In Your Glass World,' share new song "I Want To Kill You"
Indie rockers Citizen have announced details on their fourth studio album.
Revealed today, Life In Your Glass World will arrive on March 26th through Run For Cover Records. To celebrate the announcement, the band have unveiled the music video for their new single "I Want To Kill You," which you can see below.
For the album, Citizen recorded it in a studio built by vocalist Mat Kerekes in their garage. In a statement, Guitarist Nick Hamm said:
“I don’t have a lot of regret but there have definitely been times when we felt powerless during the band’s existence. This time we really owned every part of the process. It’s easy to feel like you’re on autopilot when you’re in a band, but that’s not a good place to be this far into our existence. We consciously knew we wanted to break free.”
Pre-orders for the album are live right now. Aside from grabbing the album, fans can also grab a limited edition Ciz Society Subscription, which offers exclusive Citizen merchandise. Life In Your Glass World is the follow to Citizen’s 2018 studio album As You Please, which peaked at number two on the Heatseekers Albums chart and number nine on the Independent Albums chart.
