Beloved manga/anime franchise Fairy Tail announces image song contest
Talented Fairy Tail fans can show off their songwriting skills with a new contest.
In collaboration with digital music service Eggs, Fairy Tail is looking for the perfect image songs based on the franchise. From now until December 3, fans can submit songs about their favorite Fairy Tail characters here. The grand prize winner will gain an animated music video based on their song released via YouTube, worldwide distribution, and inclusion in the image song album. Fairy Tail creator Hiro Mashima will be a judge for this competition. The grand prize winner will be announced in January.
The main Fairy Tail manga series ran from 2006 to 2017, and it helped launch a slew of spin-off manga series in the process. From 2009 to 2019, the Fairy Tail anime series helped the franchise grow a loyal following worldwide. In 2020, a Fairy Tail video game was released on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC.

The story follows a teenage girl named Lucy Heartfilla who is determined to join the notorious magical Fairy Tail Guild. During a daring rescue, she encounters Natsu who is part of the guild and eventually offers her a place. They become teammates performing various missions for the Fairy Tail Guild. Be prepared for an action-packed adventure!
