PAX West 2024 dates revealed, Matt Mercer to be PAX Unplugged 2023 keynote speaker
The folks behind PAX have unveiled two big updates concerning the event today.
After this past weekend’s PAX West, dates for next year’s event have been unveiled. The Seattle Convention Center will be packed with gamers once again from August 30 through September 2, 2024 (Labor Day weekend). More information about the convention will be unveiled soon.
Another big PAX update involves Matt Mercer being the keynote speaker for PAX Unplugged, which takes place from Friday, December to Sunday December 3. Mercer is known for various roles, including the Game Master for popular D&D webseries Critical Role, the voice of Ganondorf in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and Jotaro Kujo in Jojo’s Bizarre Adventures: Stardust Crusaders.
Jerry Holkins, co-founder of PAX, Penny Arcade, and Child's Play said this about PAX Unplugged:
"PAX Unplugged is what I want around the end of the year, as more and more of my gaming time is spent around a table. Plus, this is the show where you can get the purple versions of the shirts and coats and stuff."
