Aimer, Maximum The Hormone, and more to provide theme songs for Chainsaw Man anime
A slew of artists will provide theme songs for the highly anticipated Chainsaw Man anime series.
Announced today, Kenshi Yonezu (My Hero Academia Season 2) will provide the opening theme titled “KICK BACK.” While most anime series will have one or two different ending themes per season, the debut season of Chainsaw Man will take things a bit further. All 12 episodes will have their own ending theme by acts such as Maximum The Hormone (Death Note, Record of Ragnarok), Aimer (Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works, Demon Slayer), and Queen Bee (Dororo, Spooky Romantics). The full list of ending themes can be seen below.
Chainsaw Man will debut on October 11 with Crunchyroll taking care of streaming outside of Asia. The world premiere of the English dub of Chainsaw Man will go down on Friday, October 7 at New York Comic Con.
A synopsis for the Chainsaw Man anime reads:
Denji is a teenage boy living with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. Due to the debt his father left behind, he has been living a rock-bottom life while repaying his debt by harvesting devil corpses with Pochita.
One day, Denji is betrayed and killed. As his consciousness fades, he makes a contract with Pochita and gets revived as "Chainsaw Man"--a man with a devil's heart.
