The New Mutants

The New Mutants will have their first SDCC panel since the film was originally finished back in 2017. With many release date changes under its belt, there are rumors of the film jumping its way to Hulu or Disney+. Moderated by Ira Madison III, the New Mutants panel will feature writer/director Josh Boone and cast members Maisie Williams, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Heaton, Alice Braga, Blu Hunt, and Henry Zaga. As of this writing, the film is scheduled to be released in theaters on August 28.
Soundtracks to Fandom: Z2 Comics and the Graphic Album

Over the years, Z2 Comics has been turning heads with their collaborations with music acts such as Poppy and The Grateful Dead. This panel will discuss how this marriage between the two mediums works out in everyone's favor. Moderated by critic Ryan J. Downey, the panel will feature Yungblud, The Doors' Robby Krieger, Grateful Dead archivist David Lemieux, and comic book creators Dave Chisholm (Chasin' the Bird: Charlie Parker in Los Angeles), Chris Miskiewicz and Noah Van Sciver (Grateful Dead: Origins), Leah Moore (Morrison Hotel). 2D from Gorillaz will make a special appearance.
First Look at Hulu's Helstrom

Arriving on October 16, Helstrom will bring the popular Marvel Comics character to life on Hulu. The show follows Daimon and Ana Helstrom journey into taking down the worst people on Earth. Moderated by IGN's Laura Prudom, this panel will feature a special look at the show along with a discussion with the cast and crew. Showrunner Paul Zbyszewski will join actors Tom Austen, Sydney Lemmon, Elizabeth Marvel, Robert Wisdom, Ariana Guerra, June Carryl, and Alain Uy at the panel.
32nd Annual Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards

This year's Eisner Awards goes digitally with host Phil LaMarr joining the fray. IDW leads the ceremony with 13 nominations, including three for Ghost Tree. At this year's event, iconic newspaper cartoonist Nell Brinkley and illustrator E. Simms Campbell (Esquire, Life) will join the Will Eisner Comic Awards Hall of Fame. With the Dune movie coming later this year, everyone has been re-reading the Dune novels. Authors Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson will be on hand to discuss a slew of new Dune content hitting stores this fall. The pair will also look at some past Dune projects. Joining them on the panel are editors Jessica Wade (Dune), Charlotte Greenbaum (Dune: The Graphic Novel, Book 1), Anne Groell (Dune: House Atreides), and Christopher Morgan (Dune: The Duke of Caladan). BOOM! Studios founder Ross Richie will also arrive to discuss the forthcoming comic book prequel Dune: House Atreides.
The Fleet Science Center Celebrates: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. - The Stories and Science of Androids, Space Travel, and Aliens

On the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. side, showrunner Jeffrey Bell, actress Elizabeth Henstridge, actor Joel Stoffer, executive producer Craig Titley, and writers Sharla and James Oliver will be on hand. Representing the Fleet Science Center are panel moderator Andrea Decker, Dr. Virginia De Sa, Dr. Anila Kanchan Madiraju, and scientist Melissa Miller.
