Weeks after announcing plans to re-record a handful of songs from With Sympathy, footage of the band performing a new version of “Revenge” has surfaced.

The band performed the song last night at Dallas’ Dos Equis Pavilion during their trek with Rob Zombie and Alice Cooper. The new version, which can be heard below, gives the classic synthpop tune a metal makeover.

In an exclusive interview with Yahoo, Ministry vocalist Al Jourgensen discussed re-recording With Sympathy songs “Revenge,” “Effigy,” “Work for Love,” and “Here We Go.” When talking about their overall views on the band’s debut album, Jourgensen said:

“My hatred for this record was so deep. As a matter of fact, the two-inch [master] tapes of it, the actual two-inch tapes, I had a barbecue party and I burned them on a barbecue. So, there's no existing original With Sympathy’s. I just burned them.”

Ministry’s current tour with Rob Zombie and Alice Cooper concludes on September 24 at Phoenix’s Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre. Tour dates can be seen below. Tickets are on sale to the general public right now here.
