Video game composer Yuko Komiyama (Monster Hunter, Mega Man X) joins Scarlet Moon roster

Scarlet Moon Artists has added another composer to their roster.

Announced on Wednesday, composer Yuko Komiyama has joined the company’s roster of composers, which also features Hitoshi Sakimoto (Final Fantasy XII), Norihiko Hibino (Bayonetta), and Hiroki Kikuta (Indivisible). Komiyama joined Capcom in 2002 where they composed tracks for the Mega Man X and Monster Hunter franchises. Since exiting Capcom in 2010, they’ve been heard in franchises such as Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy.

Komiyama said this about joining the roster:

"I am very happy to have become a member of Scarlet Moon. This will actually be my first time working on independent games, and I hope to be of help to those making these games abroad. I am very much looking forward to meeting new teams and expressing new musical ideas. Let's work together to create wonderful works that will lead the future of games!"

Scarlet Moon's Jayson Napolitano also said:

"We are so excited to work with such an incredible talent. It's a huge honor to have been approached by Komiyama-san about joining the Scarlet Moon family and are looking forward to seeing and hearing what we're able to work on together with our development partners."
