Santa Barbara punk band Versus The World, which features members of Lagwagon and Good Riddance, have unveiled their new single "Your Wedding And A Funeral.”

Vocalist Donald Ashley Spence said this about the new single, which can be heard below:

“Your Wedding and a Funeral” is a complex yet extremely melodic and rememberable song, most likely in the musical context of mid-western emo and post-punk. It is about lost love.

This song is kind of a confession. An admittance of guilt. It’s hard to look at something that has been broken and say out loud that you’re the reason. It really was therapeutic to write and it’s one of my favorite choruses on the record. There are 2 versions of this song and when I go back and listen to the first rendition I’m really stoked on the way it turned out.”

"Your Wedding And A Funeral" comes from Versus The World’s forthcoming studio album The Bastards Live Forever, which will be released on May 26 via SBÄM Records. “Your Wedding And A Funeral” is available on digital services right now.
