A handful of North Carolina bands will join forces in memory of Headfirst Records’ John Rivera.

Announced today, Undying, Codeseven, Prayer For Cleansing, Catharsis, Azazel, Funeral Chic, and Riot Stares will perform at The Ramkat in Winston-Salem on Sunday, December 18. All proceeds from the show will go towards John's daughter Penny and their wife Caroline. Rivera passed away earlier this month due to health issues.

Tickets for this show will go on sale to the general public here next Friday (August 26) at 12 p.m. EST.

Aside from running Headfirst Records, Rivera also created the Punks on Paper internet archive, which showcases a slew of fliers from the North Carolina hardcore and punk scenes. A GoFundMe to help raise money for cremation and family living costs can be found here.
