Trustkill Records teases the return of Hellfest

One beloved music festival in the Tri-State area is looking to make its return.

Today, New Jersey record label Trustkill Records has announced a revival of Hellfest. For those living in the New Jersey/New York area, Hellfest was one of the finest music festivals focused on metalcore, post-hardcore, and hardcore bands. No other information has been revealed, but folks can sign up for the mailing list here to be notified when news drops.

From 1997 to 2004, Hellfest brought bands such as Armor For Sleep, Hopesfall, From Autumn To Ashes, and Bleeding Through together for a weekend of moshing and stage diving. The 2005 installment, which would’ve featured acts such as Public Enemy, Gym Class Heroes, and Killswitch Engage, was canceled less than two days before it started. This led to numerous last-minute shows in New Jersey and New York featuring a plethora of bands originally booked for the three-day event.

Trustkill Records was a major sponsor of Hellfest through its original run. In 2001, the record label released Hellfest Syracuse, NY - Summer 2000: The Official Documentary on home video.
