Los Angeles always has a plethora of events going down at every corner. Whether it’s a convention or some local stand-up comedy, there’s always something to do if you’re looking to leave the house. We look at some of the best events going down in Los Angeles this week (July 8 through July 14).

Wednesday, July 10

The Rolling Stones @ SoFi Stadium (1001 S. Stadium Dr.)
Doors: 5:30 p.m. (tickets)

The Rolling Stones are in town to support their latest studio album Hackney Diamonds with two shows at SoFi Stadium. Wednesday's show will feature support from The War and Treaty, who earned their first Grammy nomination last year for their track "Blank Page." The Rolling Stones will also perform at the venue on Saturday with support from The Linda Lindas (tickets can be purchased here).

Thursday, July 11

Chat Pile @ Lodge Room (104 N Ave 56 2nd floor)
Doors: 7:30 p.m. (tickets)

Chat Pile will headline a Sound and Fury kickoff show at Lodge Room. The sludge metal band promises to have a completely different set from their forthcoming appearance at the hardcore festival. Chat Pile will be joined by special guests Marbled Eye and Luster.

Friday, July 12

Full of Hell, Nothing @ The Mayan (1038 S Hill St.)
Doors: 8 p.m. (tickets)

Full of Hell and Nothing will perform their collaborative album When No Birds Sang for the first time ever at The Mayan as part of the Sound & Fury kick off. They Are Gutting A Body of Water and Terror Cell Unit will be the supporting acts.

Saturday, July 13

The Living Tombstone, Qbomb @ Fonda Theatre (6126 Hollywood Blvd.)
Doors: 8 p.m. (tickets)

The Living Tombstone will make their way to Fonda Theatre in the midst of their first-ever tour across the country. The electronic rock act will unveil their new studio album Rust sometime this year. Los Angeles’ own Qbomb will be the opening act.

Pearl and The Oysters @ Levitt Pavilion MacArthur Park (2230 West 6th St.)
Doors: 6:30 p.m. (free tickets - RSVP here)

Levitt Pavilion Los Angeles' free summer concert series at MacArthur Park continues this Saturday with a headlining performance from Pearl and The Oysters. The Los Angeles indie pop band unveiled their latest studio album Coast 2 Coast last year. St. Panther and Los Eclipses will be the supporting acts. RSVP for the event over on Eventbrite.

Board A.F. A Group Art Event-Dedicated to Board Culture (w/The Downhill Jam) @ Gallery AF (2323 East Olympic Boulevard #7)
Doors: 4 p.m. (tickets)

Gallery AF will give skateboarding some love with their Board A.F. event. The seven-hour event, which will feature skate sessions and DJ sets, will be headlined by a performance from Tony Hawk's Pro Skater Cover Band The Downhill Jam at 8:30 p.m. VIP ticket holders will get early entry at 4 p.m.; general admission ticket holders will be let in at 5 p.m.

Sunday, July 14

Blueprint Sessions show taping @ Blueprint Studios (31143 Via Colinas #506)
Doors: 9:30 a.m. (tickets)

Blueprint Sessions will be filming their Sound of Youth series on Sunday, and they're invited folks to check out some great local bands live during the taping. From 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., the taping will feature a slew of acts, including Side Chicks, Centershift, Fake Figures, and Don’t Panic. Aside from performances, attendees will be able to meet the bands, get a voucher to watch the episode on StageIt, and pick up some exclusive merch.
