Los Angeles always has a plethora of events going down at every corner. Whether it’s a convention or some local stand-up comedy, there’s always something to do if you’re looking to leave the house. We look at some of the best events going down in Los Angeles this week (February 19 through February 25).

Tuesday, February 20

Caligula's Horse, Earthside @ Echoplex (1154 Glendale Blvd)
Doors: 6 p.m. (tickets)

Australian prog metal band Caligula's Horse will be taking over The Echoplex in support of their new studio album Charcoal Grace, which is out via InsideoutMusic. Earthside will join them as support.

Wednesday, February 21

South Asian Comedy Night @ Bourbon Room (6356 Hollywood Blvd, 2nd Floor)
Doors: 7 p.m. (tickets) 21+

Hosted by Priya Mehta, South Asian Comedy Night will showcase South Asian comedy with comedians Zainab Johnson, Aparna Nancherla, Pritesh Shah, Mahesh Kotagi, Shilpa Das, and Prav taking the stage. This show will have a two-item minimum.

Thursday, February 22

Beartooth, The Plot In You @ The Wiltern (3790 Wilshire Blvd.)
Doors: 5:30 p.m. (tickets)

Metalcore group Beartooth will bring their North American headlining tour to The Wiltern, and there's a few tickets left for their show on Thursday. The band will be supporting their new studio album The Surface, which is their second studio album to top the Hard Rock Albums chart. Joining Beartooth as support are The Plot In You, Invent, Animate, and Sleep Theory.

What is Music? In Conversation with Heron and the Hen @ Upright Citizens Brigade (5919 Franklin Avenue)
Doors: 8:45 p.m. (tickets) 15+

Indie rock band Heron & The Hen will have an evening of live music and discussions about music inside Upright Citizens Brigade. Tim Heidecker, Londale Theus Jr., Zach Steele, and Jet Eleveth will join the conversation, and there will also be a special musical guest announced at the show.

Friday, February 23

Big Business, Smokers @ Lodge Room (104 N Ave 56)
Doors: 8 p.m. (tickets)

Big Business are taking their West Coast tour to Lodge Room this Friday. The band's last studio album was 2019's The Beast You Are. Joining them as support are Oakland punk band Smokers, which features former members of Nuisance, Black Fork, the Pattern and St. James Infirmary.

Laur Elle, Lyncs @ Moroccan Lounge (901 E. 1st Street)
Doors: 6:30 p.m. (tickets) 21+

Los Angeles indie-pop artist Laur Elle will celebrate the release of the deluxe edition of their latest studio album Delayed Reaction. VIP tickets comes with the deluxe edition on vinyl. Lyncs will join them as the opening act.

Saturday, February 24

Ceremony @ Hollywood Palladium (6215 W Sunset Blvd)
Doors: 6 p.m. (tickets)

Hardcore punk band Ceremony will perform their studio album Rohnert Park in its entirety for the first and only time at Hollywood Palladium. Infest, Gouge Away, and Soul Search will be the opening acts. A limited number of tickets are still on sale.

Subculture: Heart Destroyers Fest @ Catch One (4067 W Pico Blvd)
Doors: 9 p.m. (tickets) 18+

Subculture's annual Heart Destroyers Fest will take over four rooms inside Catch One. Catch sets from acts such as Aliyah's Interlude, Maya Karli, and Alex Sloane. Tickets for this event are running fast.
